BY ACCESSING, CONNECTING TO, OR USING ANY CSI-PTT NETWORK IN ANY WAY, INCLUDING LISTENING OR TRANSMITTING ON ANY CHANNEL, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT.
This Agreement supersedes all prior drafts, policies, guidelines, or informal rules relating to the use of CSI-PTT networks.
Definitions
“CSI-PTT”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to CSI-PTT and its operators. “You” or “User” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Service. “Public Community Chat” means CSI-PTT’s open, community-based communication channels. “Network(s)” refers to any CSI-PTT - operated communication environment. “Content” includes all audio, text, data, usernames, or other material transmitted through the Service.
Eligibility & Acceptance
You must be legally capable of entering into this Agreement and comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and tribal laws. Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of this Agreement.
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account or device. You agree to use the service lawfully, responsibly, and safely, protect access credentials, and avoid sharing sensitive, personal, or private information.
Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service for illegal activity; harassment, threats, stalking, bullying, or hate speech; impersonation of CSI-PTT staff, emergency services, or public officials; spam, fraud, or scams; network interference, hacking, or abuse; or
unauthorized recording or rebroadcasting.
No Solicitation or Advertising
Users may not advertise, promote, solicit, or market products, services, businesses, donation campaigns, crowdfunding efforts, referral links, or external platforms without prior written authorization from CSI-PTT. This includes repeated mentions, indirect promotion, or attempts to drive traffic, engagement, or attention elsewhere.
No Fundraising or Donation Requests
Requests for money, donations, gifts, financial assistance, or fundraising—whether personal, charitable, political, or organizational—are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by CSI-PTT.
No Political Campaigning
The Service may not be used to campaign for or against political candidates, ballot initiatives, political parties, or elected officials. General discussion of public issues may be permitted when conducted respectfully and without advocacy, agitation, or solicitation.
No Religious Proselytizing
The Service may not be used to promote, recruit for, pressure others into, or repeatedly preach religious belief, practice, or affiliation. Respectful discussion is permitted; coercive, disruptive, or repetitive conduct is not.
No Sexual or Explicit Content
Sexual content, explicit descriptions, sexual roleplay, fetish content, or sexually suggestive audio is prohibited. The Service is intended to remain suitable for a general audience.
Threats, Intimidation, or Violent Language (Zero Tolerance Approach)
CSI-PTT maintains a zero-tolerance policy for threats, intimidation, or violent language.
Any direct or implied threat of violence, harm, retaliation, or intimidation toward another user, group, or entity—regardless of intent, emotional state, joking, exaggeration, or provocation—is strictly prohibited.
Any such conduct will result in immediate enforcement action, including removal from the channel, suspension of transmission privileges, and referral for permanent termination.
No warning, de-escalation attempt, or prior violation is required where safety or network integrity is implicated.
Unauthorized Audio, Soundboards, and Artificial Transmissions
The transmission of prerecorded audio, music, sound effects, animal noises, soundboards, voice changers, or artificially altered audio is prohibited when it disrupts communications or interferes with channel use.
Limited novelty use may be tolerated at moderator discretion; repeated, excessive, or disruptive use is prohibited.
Repeated behavior may be evaluated as a pattern, even if individual incidents appear minor.
The Service is intended for live human communication—not continuous entertainment broadcasting or audio injection.
Code of Conduct (Applies Network-Wide)
These rules exist to protect users, the network, and the integrity of communications, and to maintain a family-friendly environment suitable for all ages.
Family-Friendly Language:
· Profanity, obscene, or foul language is not permitted.
Respect Others:
· Targeted harassment, insults, intimidation, threats, or personal attacks are prohibited.
· Accidental misidentification, misunderstandings, or unintentional offense— without malicious intent—do not constitute harassment.
No Arguing or Hostile Disputes:
· Prolonged arguments, combative exchanges, or emotionally escalated behavior are not permitted. Repeated attempts to provoke, restart disputes, or escalate tension after moderator direction may be treated as disruptive conduct.
No Targeted or Coordinated Abuse:
· Do not single out or encourage harassment of another user.
Identity, Pronouns, and Voice-Based Assumptions:
· CSI-PTT does not require users to assume, guess, or affirm another user’s identity, gender, or pronouns, particularly in voice-only communications. Users may voluntarily state how they wish to be addressed. Continued deliberate harassment after clarification may be enforced. Repeated confrontation, escalation, or disruption over perceived slights may be treated as disruptive behavior.
No Disruptive Behavior:
· No flooding, mic-keying, excessive key-ups, injected audio, music playback, sound effects, animal noises, voice manipulation, or other actions reasonably likely to disrupt communications.
Excessive or Non-Communicative Transmissions:
· Keying the network without a legitimate communication purpose—including novelty audio, prolonged sound playback, or non-responsive transmissions—may result in warnings, muting, suspension, or referral for further action.
Voice Alteration and Impersonation:
· The use of voice-changing software, filters, or artificial voice alteration is prohibited when used to mislead, impersonate others, provoke reactions, evade moderation, or disrupt communications. Repeated novelty use may be restricted or prohibited at moderator discretion.
Respect Channel Purpose:
· Use of the channel is for intended purposes only.
No False Authority or Emergency Misuse:
· Do not impersonate staff, officials, or misuse emergency language.
Parody and Humor:
· Allowed only when obvious, non-deceptive, and compliant with these rules.
Network Purpose:
· CSI-PTT exists to provide reliable communications—not to function as a soundboard, music broadcast system, solicitation venue, or dispute forum. (Unless prior approval or channel dedication is established.)
Users who are unwilling or unable to operate within this scope may be restricted or removed.
Privacy & Public Nature of Communications
Communications on CSI-PTT Public Community Chat networks may be public or semi-public. Users should not assume privacy unless expressly stated in writing. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
Moderation, Enforcement, and Platform Neutrality
CSI-PTT does not pre-screen user Content and does not endorse user speech. Network administrators and moderators are authorized to take limited, proportional enforcement actions to protect users, maintain orderly communications, and preserve the integrity, safety, and lawful operation of the Service.
Immediate Threat and Audio Abuse Response Authority:
· Moderators and administrators are authorized to take immediate corrective action for threats, intimidation, audio misuse, excessive disruption, or network interference without warning when necessary to protect user safety or restore channel usability.
Such actions may be taken based on reasonable judgment and are not required to follow a progressive discipline model.
Such actions may include:
· Issuing warnings.
· Muting or disabling transmission privileges.
· Restricting access to specific channels.
· Temporary suspension of a user’s transmission or network access for a defined period not to exceed seventy-two (72) hours.
· Any credible threat, intimidation, or violent language in violation of the zero-tolerance policy.
Administrators and moderators do not have authority to permanently terminate any user, device, account, or access to the Service.
Any conduct believed to warrant permanent termination must be documented and formally referred to CSI-PTT management for review.
Only the CSI-PTT Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) have authority to approve or execute permanent termination decisions.
CSI-PTT responds only to valid, lawful orders issued by authorities with proper jurisdiction.
Accounts & Credentials
Accounts and credentials may not be shared, sold, or transferred. Users are responsible for all activity conducted through their account or device.
Service Availability & Network Management
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. CSI-PTT does not guarantee uptime, coverage, or reliability. CSI-PTT may modify or discontinue any aspect of the Service to maintain safety, stability, performance, or compliance. CSI-PTT is not liable for force majeure events.
Emergency Services Disclaimer
CSI-PTT is not an emergency service and does not replace 911 or other emergency systems. Do not rely on the service for emergencies, medical, or life-safety communications.
Limitation of Liability & No Legal Advice
Nothing in this Agreement constitutes legal advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSI-PTT is not liable for user-generated content, actions of other users, off-platform consequences, data loss, downtime, or service interruptions. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind.
Suspension and Termination
CSI-PTT may suspend or restrict access to the Service for violations of this Agreement or for network protection or operational necessity.
Temporary suspensions imposed by administrators or moderators are corrective measures intended to de-escalate situations, restore order, or prevent ongoing disruption. Such suspensions shall be limited in duration and scope and do not constitute termination.
Permanent termination of access is an extraordinary measure and may occur only:
· After repeated violations following prior enforcement actions.
· In cases of severe, malicious, or unlawful conduct; or
· When required by applicable law or valid legal order.
Authority to permanently terminate access is strictly limited to the CSI-PTT Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Administrators and moderators must refer termination-level matters to the Manager or CEO and may not independently terminate any user, device, or account.
Changes, Severability, Assignment & Interpretation
CSI-PTT may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. This agreement may be assigned by CSI-PTT in connection with a merger or transfer. Headings are for convenience only.
Governing Law, Federal Law, Tribal Sovereignty & Venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, including ratified treaties. Federal law controls in the event of conflict. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in Florida state courts or United States federal courts located in Florida.
Nothing herein waives tribal sovereignty, treaty rights, sovereign immunity, or jurisdictional protection.
